Start with documents, medication, keys, valuables, photographs, and family keepsakes. Label rooms or groups of items that are still awaiting a decision. Once the removal list is approved, note furniture sizes, access restrictions, and the date the apartment must be returned. Do not assume a donation destination will accept every item.
